NYCR Bathroom Memorial Mosaic

From NYC Resistor Wiki

The floor in the bathroom at NYCR is pretty gross. It's just a nasty old sheet of plywood with a bit of paint slapped on top. Wouldn't it be nice to have a tile floor?

But tile is expensive and a pain to cut. However, we do have 3mm acrylic scrap. A lot of it. In many, many colors.

Materials needed:

  • Acrylic scrap -- this is completely taken care of.
  • Weldbond or other cement for holding down the scrap
  • Grout

We can probably do this in an evening once we have the materials.

Progress to date[edit]

We have "NYCResistor" as a small test panel; needs to be grouted and then we can staple it to the floor to test.
