Laser Room Supplies

We try to keep some basic acrylic and plywood in stock. If you notice that we have fewer than three sheets remaining of either acrylic or plywood, please order more.

1. Order supplies

For acrylic: order from Canal Plastic (https://www.canalplastic.com). Get the 12x24" sheets, in a mix of 1.5mm and 3mm thickness. We usually order a dozen sheets at a time.

For plywood: order from Tower Hobbies (https://www.towerhobbies.com). Get the Revell Plywood in 12x24" sheets, a mix of 1.5mm and 3mm thickness. We usually order a dozen sheets at a time.

2. Send your receipts to [email protected] for reimbursement. If you're not comfortable paying for the supplies with your own credit card, you can also email the Treasurer and ask them to pay for the order.

3. Process the shipment when it arrives.

Check that what we received matches what's on the invoice. Then use masking tape to label each piece of material in the top-left corner, with its material type, dimensions (including thickness), and price. Price should be the per-item cost as listed on the invoice, plus $3 (to cover shipping and handling).
