Ham Radio/FLRig

CAT control software allows you to control a ham radio (frequency, mode, etc.) with a computer. FLRig is CAT control software designed to either be used stand-alone or connected to clients.

When using a client such as FLDigi or WSJT-X, you can simply select FLRig FLRig for radio control. This can be more convenient than repeatedly inputting the radio's settings for each new piece of ham radio software.

ICOM IC-7000[edit]

Below is an example configuration to connect to an ICOM IC-7000 via a Digirig interface. Note that the value for the second input (next to the Update button) will be different depending on your OS. For Linux, try looking for /dev/ttyUSB0.
