[edit | edit source]The original "SIGN MAX" control panel has an LCD, a bunch of buttons, and a ten-pin connector.
5 pins to LCD, red is pin 1
Note: Not looking into the LCD yet

Button matrix configuration
[edit | edit source]There's a diode at the bottom of every column, so each of 5/6/7 should be pulled high in turn, and 8/9/10 scanned for their values. There should be pulldowns on 8/9/10.
