Art pieces around Resistor: an inevitably incomplete list, in no particular order[edit]

LED art[edit]

  • Hexascroller. Connected to Home Assistant over mqtt.
  • Cupri Sun. Now runs WLED on a QuinLED-Dig-Quad, and is connected to Home Assistant.
  • Mini Pyramid. Built on the BeagleBone Black PRU. Not connected to the network.
  • SparkSign. Since re-brained with a Pico W by Adam, running a custom firmware. Not connected to mqtt (yet).
  • Cubescroller. Built on BeagleBone Black / Octoscroller. Not connected to the network.
  • Rainbow bars. Originally built on the BeagleBone Black PRU. In the process of being completely rebuilt and rebrained with WLED on a QuinLED-Dig-Quad by Guillaume, Bill, and Vince.
  • The cloud was by Tiby Kantrowitz, and has since been rebuilt and re-brained by Guillaume and Bill. Now runs WLED on a generic ESP32, and is connected to Home Assistant, which updates the colours based on the weather conditions using automations. The original code used different colors.
  • Three tensegrity pink bars above the couches. Not connected to the network. Runs on some kind of Arduino. Not connected to the network.
  • Multicolor cubes in cubesville. Not connected to the network. Runs on some kind of Arduino. Not connected to the network.
  • Collapsing digital clock in Tooltown. Unknown. Not connected to the network.
  • Collapsing digital clock on the mezzanine. Unknown. Not connected to the network.
  • Red LED matrix on the mezzanine. Unknown. Not connected to the network.
  • Red LED matrix by the couches. Unknown. Not connected to the network.
  • Red lion eyes above Cubesville. Unknown. Not connected to the network.
  • Video D20 above table. Plays video file on the card, currently an abortion graphic. Not connected to the network.
